Emma Jesson & Racing Weather

Emma Jesson runs the Racing Weather service. She and her family have been involved in racing for many years, so she’s no stranger to the turf.

Much of Emma’s professional life revolves round weather, and much of her personal life has embraced the noble sport of horseracing, so Racing Weather is a natural synergy.

Racing is the only sport where weather is crucial to every aspect – the training, the running, the betting… and even what to wear on the day!  Find out more about the Racing Weather service here.

Emma is working directly with several of the country’s most prestigious racetracks this year including York, Ascot and Goodwood, and has been retained by Racing for Change to perform PR duties.

Emma is a weather presenter with ITV Central and Granada who also guests on Channel 4 Racing and The Morning Line. She recently completed a campaign as the face of Orange mobile’s Monkey music sharing service aimed at 16-24 year olds, recording twelve adverts for them, and regularly hosts conferences and top drawer awards ceremonies for companies at major venues across the country. She has just finished filming a small role in a new film out later this year, and records voice-overs for TV, radio and adverts… and even had a small cameo recently in Coronation Street!
